Where it began
Greater Impact Campus Movement began at Savannah State University when Christian Student Union and Chosen Campus Ministry came together around a shared conviction: students need a vibrant, Christ-centered community on campus.
What began as a merger became a movement—one built to evangelize, equip, empower, and launch students into lifelong Christian leadership and service.
The next chapter
In August 2026, GICM expands into a national organization. The original Savannah State University campus movement remains at the heart of the story as the Founding Chapter of the national body.

Vantrel Mainor is a faith leader and campus ministry builder committed to helping students encounter Christ, grow as disciples, and step into purposeful service. His leadership is rooted in a passion for evangelism, spiritual formation, and equipping the next generation to lead with conviction.
Co-Founder
Sheri Rouse Mainor is a faith leader and mentor with a heart for cultivating authentic Christian community among students. She brings a discipleship-centered approach to leadership, encouraging young adults to grow in the Word, serve with compassion, and walk boldly in their calling.
